Minimal lacing on the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of tart lemon peel, ginger, orange zest, tangerine, grapefruit, green apple, pear, thyme, herbal, grass, pepper, light caramel, bread, light oak, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Nice aromas with good complexity and solid balance of fruity/earthy yeast, spice, and light oak notes; with good strength. A bit too strong on the spices. Taste of tart lemon peel, orange zest, tangerine, grapefruit, green apple, pear, ginger, thyme, herbal, grass, light caramel, bread, light pepper, light oak, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Good amount of fruity/earthy tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon peel, orange zest, tangerine, grapefruit, green apple, ginger, thyme, herbal, grass, light pepper, light caramel, bread, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and pale malt sweetness; with a great sweetness/tartness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and fairly crisp/acidic mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice brett saison. Good complexity and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and pale malt sweetness; and very smooth to sip on with the moderate acidity. A very enjoyable offering.

Forgetfu Tasting at ChrisOs. Thanks to Leighton. Hazy deep amber - brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light and a little crispy and semi dry. Whisper of cherry amid the dark fruits and mild dark malts. Cherries turn a little bitter. Light bitterish finish. Decent.

Refrigerated 75 cl brown 2013 bottle poured into a glass. Pours clear golden with small white head which dissipates very quickly. Aroma is light brine, medium/light body, softer texture, and well carbonated, and little lacing. Taste is tart brine. Expected better taste, but may be a bit better fresher.

Bottle thanks to Leighton. It pours darkest brown with a medium tan light tan head. The nose is soft, woody, vinous, jam, dark chocolate, vanilla and light oxidised notes. The taste is tart, tangy, dried berry, tangy fruit, some acidity, caramel, damp wood, leaf, light roast and lemon sherbet. Medium body and fine carbonation. Not bad.

Bottle shared in London - picked up in MA. Pours rich brown with a creamy, khaki head. Dynamic dark, ripe berries in the nose, some subtle burnt herbs, slight toffee, plums. Medium sweet flavor with lots of wet wood, old berries, some leathery fruits, slight menthol, earth. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Mellow old, tart berries to finish, more wood, bitter worn leather, ripe berries, dirt, plums, dried cranberries. Pretty decent.

Light spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of lemon, pear, apple, wheat, coriander, pepper, herbal, floral, grass, sea salt, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of fruity/earthy yeast, spice/salt, and pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, pear, apple, coriander, pepper, wheat, herbal, floral, grass, sea salt, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Light earthy yeast spiciness with slight tartness/salinity on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, pear, apple, coriander, pepper, wheat, herbal, floral, grass, sea salt, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Nice balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, spice/salt, and pale malt notes; with solid robustness and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and lightly prickly mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.4%. Overall this is a nice Gose, very pleasant. Good balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, spice/salt, and pale malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Bottle shared by Nolen, thanks! Pours cloudy, small off white head, dissipates quickly, minimal lacing. Aroma is a bit sulfuric with peaches, skins, lemon, cheesy funk. Sulphur aroma diminishes as the beer breathes. Flavor is quite tart, peachy, a bit sulfuric, lemon. Light body, minimal carbonation.

This one was poured into a pint glass and a tulip. There wasn’t any difference between the two.
The appearance had a nice red-orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute and left some light glossy spider web lacing.
The smell had a \"fruity\" apricot to grapefruit aroma with a nice bittering underneath of some light spicy hops.
The taste had a nice citrusy to apricot-like flavoring coat my taste buds fairly nicely.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium in body with a fairly decent sessionable aspect about it. The carbonation seemed just a tad under for the IPA style, but honestly wasn’t too bad to me.
Overall, for the most part, I say this was a good IPA worthy of having again.

Tasting at Bruce’s pad. Thanks to Bruce for this one. Hazy red - amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and crispy. Nice level of sourness, ie not too much. Zippy cherry and a touch of lemon. Finishes dry refreshing.
