Bottle 750ml. @ PBF2012.Clear light yellow colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy honey, flowers, papaja ? maybe eucalytus, alcohol notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light acidic with a average to long duration, tart, honey, dry, tart apple notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20120727]

Bottle at Stockholm Beer and Whiskey Festival 2012. Clear, light yellow/green liquid. Aroma of raw sugar, some booze, pear and fermented honey. Taste is dry and has notes of pears and figs. Medium bodied with no carbonation. Quite nice.

Bottle at Stockholm Beer and Whiskey Festival 2012. Clear green/grape liquid. Aroma of honey, spices, red berries, toilet, yeast and wood. Taste is dry and has notes of wood, spices and honey. Medium bodied. Sea buckthorn works just as bad in this mead as in a beer I brewed.

Bottle at Stockholm Beer and Whiskey Festival 2012. Almost clear deep purple/reed liquid. Aroma of honey, red berries, blue berries, raw sugar and some booze. Taste is dry and light bitter with notes of bitter lingon berries and some honey. Medium bodied. Nice.

Sample at SBWF 2012. Black with a nice tan head. A lot of dark chocolate both in the aroma and taste. Nice bitterness with roasted malt, some whiskey, honey and wood. The finish was rather bitter and with a slight tartness.
