Refrigerated brown bomber poured into a white wine glass. Aroma is nice rich apple with some bourbon, medium body, low carbonation, and no lacing. Taste is rich apples, vanilla, honey, rye, and bourbon. Complex this is a nice fall, spring, or winter sipper; not a summer session.

Feety orange peel, apple, and nail polish smell. Milky yellow. Apple, pineapple, and coriander, with a subtle rancid meat note. I don’t believe I have had a Belgian yeast cider yet that I like.

Bottle from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours translucent perry color with some fine bubbles. Aroma is somewhat sweet pear. Near med body. Flavor is very pear. A little skin. It’s a bit like having bitten a ripe pear. Seems dry, but a little sugar builds on my lips. Quite drinkable.

Applejack nose, bourbon and apple. Opaque amber, abundant carbonation visible. Bourbon and applesauce flavor, the bourbon fades. Light body. I don’t like bourbon, but it goes well with cider.

Bomber. Aroma is a lot like sauvignon blanc with an apple character; after it warms a little bit, floral notes come out. Pours a hazy greenish-white color, almost like a sauv blanc but even paler; no head. Taste is sweet and tart, dry; honey is detectable in the finish. Carbonation is fairly soft, body medium. Nice cider, although 22 oz is a bit much for one person at one sitting. 12 oz would have worked better for me.

Bomber from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours a hazy perry/cider mixed color. Aroma is woody and apple. Maybe a bourbon hint. Med body. There’s wood, mixed flavors, including a touch of bourbon, and perhaps some rye spice. Complicated, but it’s not overdone. Get’s just a hint of tart/wood towards the finish. Really quite nice, finishing towards dry.
