Pours a reddish-purple color. It smells mainly of berries. The flavor is sweet with blackberries dominating and some pear in the background. It’s okay, but less than impressive.

On tap @ Republic. Pours a clear gold with no head whatsoever. Aroma has notes of pre-ripe pear that has a good amount of earthiness. Flavor is much more sweet with ripe pear and a kind of candy note.

Bottle from Wegmans. Cloudy golden, glowing, effervescent. Dry apple nose, leaves, touch of lemon. Complex flavor, ripe apples, nice tartness, some minerals, a touch of maple syrup, yeasty spices coming from the Trappist yeast. Rich but not overly sweet. Nice tang. Good body. Nice stuff.

Bottle. Hazy orange color with visible sediment in the bottle, and ypur glass if you choose. Lightly sweet apple and some honey, as well as prominent yeast. Nicr palate, almost no carbonation. Great stuff.

This was poured into a pint glass and a wine glass.
The appearance was the same in both: somewhat cloudy yellow color with a slight transparency about it to allow light streams of carbonated bubbles to be seen rising.
The smell had some tart apples and some sweet apples with a slight oakiness coming about it.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was definitely felt as there’s a harshness that can’t be missed.
Overall, hmmm....actually an okay cider. I know it says to pour over ice but I wanted to see this as it really is. Though I won’t seek it out again, if I ever did have it again, maybe I’ll pour over ice to see if that does anything.

On tap @ The Mayor of Old Town. Clear, very light yellow appearance with a tiny white head. The aroma is kind of intriguing. Perfume, potpourri, pear, passion fruit and Smarties. The flavor is surprisingly not overly sweety. Lots of apple, pear, and candy. Light body. Pretty juicy. Slightly bland.

Bomber from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours perry color. Aroma is pear and a spice note. Not getting citrus. Wow flavor impact. Unexpected. Starts pear with some zest. Think coriander follows. It is rather tart. Rather dry. Finishes pear/citrus tart. Nice.

Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a slightly hazy pale gold with minimal head. Aroma of crisp and sweet apples, with a little funk. Taste is medium-heavy sweet and light tart . Follows aroma, with lots of bready yeast in the finish. Loads of fresh apples in here. Medium bodied with a somewhat sticky texture. Lively carbonation and a very long finish. Pretty darn good, not an everyday cider but something I would enjoy again.
