Draught at the Alibi. Very pale green, sort of a scummy head. Tart with a bit of appley fruits.

Amber, hazy, thin head. On the nose some bright floral hops, of all things, brett, and a dose of biscuity amber malt. Tart up front, slight spiciness, touch of fruit...wood...just a splash of alcohol. A lot going on, but it’s actually quite cohesive, and I’m enjoying that. Funky, whacky, yet I understand it.

Sweet vomit and candy. Cloudy yellow gold with a decent white head. Sweet and candy floss, vanilla and just a bad mess.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out gentle salt, coriander, and citrusy tang. Flavour is tangy, with lots of lacto, gentle coriander, and a touch of salt. Tangy and coriander finish. Solid.

Okay foam and clearish yellow body, soft vegetably grain funk and a bit of spicy peppery grain. Flavour is good grain funk, yeast. Full mouthfeel. Very nice, low alcohol doesn't detract.

Pale and bright, thin head, big sage nose, tart, oaky, massive sage and a bit of the elderflower. Crazy, complex, I mean the sage is pretty huge but it’s balanced if you can handle that. Kinda reminds me of Craftsman White Sage Tripel, for the old money types. But sour.

Light amber, no head, just a touch of haze. I mean if you’re sufficiently imaginative you can find lemon in this. On the palate, lots of kettle sour, maybe lemon? Again this doesn’t bring the lemony brightness that would really pop.

Amber with just a slight chill haze. On the nose this brings a sweet NZ white, maybe a bit of deeper biscuity malt. Quite tart, lots of barrel influence, light touch of brett that’s starting to dry it out. Good complexity and character.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Golden coloir, slightly hazy. It tastes as if it's still fermenting, sweet&sour, it doesn't have the sharp touch of other Moon Under Water kettle sours, and in this unfinished beer the lemon seems to add a note out of time rather than complementing it.
Not liking it.
