Sample from bottle at SBWF. Hazy amber with a small white head. A lot of grape in both aroma and the taste. Nice bitterness. Fresh, dry and with a nice mouth feel. A good beer.

[9/26/10] Draught at t’ Arendsnest in Amsterdam. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of fresh citric hops. Bitter hoppy flavor with some yeast, fruity notes and some sweet malt in the background. Medium-bodied.

[9/24/10] Draught at Borefts Beer Festival 2010. Dark brown to black color. Aroma of espresso and roasted malt. Bitter flavor with coffee, some malty, slightly chocolaty sweetness and a nice dry roasty finish. Medium to full-bodied. Good stuff.

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. Hazy amber, small head. Sweaty grapefruit aroma. Mid sweet with full body. Dense and bready. Hugely hoppy with plenty of sweaty grapefruit. Long very bitter finish, Aromatic and intense.

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. Near black, no head. Aroma of licorice and oaky whisky. Fruity and mid sweet with full bosy. Grain and aniseed is there the edges ar rounded my fruity smoky whisky. Long tarry bitterness.

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. Near black, no head. Aroma of licorice and tar. Sweet and full bodied with grain, aniseed and licorice notes of tin. A bit edgy and aggressive with long salty licorice bitterness.

On tap at Emelisse Oktoberfest. Black colour, bubbly brown head. Aroma of full on whiskey, smoke, vanilla, alcohol, hard roasted malts. Flavour is sweet, coffee, whiskey, peat, lots of liquorice root powder in the earthy and light peaty finish. Medium to fullbodied. Very good.
