Bottled. Bit of a rank aroma giving way to toffee. Buttery biscuity notes, can taste the goldings.

Bottle. Nice amber, red color, not much head or lace. Aroma is that of malt, hay, cereal. Taste, nice flavor. Malt cereal, with a slight sweetness that’s just right. Good stuff. Would drink again.

Bottle from Morrisons Supermarket in the coastal resort of Cromer. Enjoyed in the countryside just outside the town. Very dark red with a small head. It's a fair addition to this family of ales, and is stated enough in its light roasted notes, allowing some sweetness through. Perhaps its easy drinking nature is its best feature.
