Pours a clean golden colour with a white frothy cap, good retention leaving lots of dirty lacing. Grainy malt aromas with some honey notes, light grass and some fruitiness. The taste has this fruit again over the cereal malts and pils hops. Just a tad thick to be an easy-drinking Euro pilsner, but quite nice overall. Will have to try real cold at a gathering.

Had this one at The Works in Ottawa before a Deep Purple show (2nd Canadian pils of the night - the other being the Garrison). Typical golden brew with a decent white cap and good lace. Nice mild hoppy aromas with cereal grains. Crisp mouthfeel with a malty taste and some bitterness from the hop. Was quite decent with The Works huge burgers. An easy-going pilsener.

dark coppery color, almost brown with a light beige head, medium lasting. Aroma has notes of light dry fruits, light hoppy. Flavor is slightly bittery, light toasty. Light body with some watery mouthfeel.

Bottle, 7.1%. Quite citric hop aroma, also teaish. Almost clear amber colour. Big stable creamy off-white head. The flavour starts off with a quite strong bitterness, not entirely pleasant. Then comes a fruity note and more bitterness. On the whole not too bad, but could have had other hop characteristics than mostly bitterness.

Many thanks for this beer to kevnic2008. 341ml Bottle. Piana srednia ale puszysta dość trwala i znaczaca na szkle swoja obecność. Kolor bursztynowy, typowy dla wiedeńskich lagerow. Piwo Smaczne treściwe, lekko karmelowe ale nie przezycone slodowoscia, umiarkowana kontra chmielowa ze strony czeskiego chmielu. Koncowka mimo poczatkowej slodowosci goryczkowa

Can: Poured a dark black color lager with a nice off-white foamy head with good retention and light lacing notes. Aroma of roasted malt with some light fruity notes is quite pleasant. Taste is a nice mix of light roasted malt with some bitter notes and some light sweet fruity notes also noticeable. Body is about average with good carbonation. Easy drinking with the right amount of complexity.

12oz bottle pours a clear amber with some cloudy, white head. Nose of pine and soap, tea. A little meh. Flavor is wicked stale, bad tea, spruce, wet paper bag. Trashy finish.
