Description
At Hop City, we create beer that inspires the curious, and fuels the restless.

We embrace the journey as much as you do. We take risks, make wrong turns, and just go for it.

For us, it’s about believing in curiosity. Because even though it may have killed the cat, before he died, that cat probably had a pretty good time.

Clear, clear amber beer. The thought of white head. And I smell ... uh... nothing. Dripped my nose to get a hint of malt and syrup. Taste is sweet thin roasted malt. Mild mild bitter after. Junk.

Retry 28.5.2023: leichte Aufwertung, lecker Bier. Sehr malzig.

12oz bottle from Beers of Europe. Poured into a Duvel glass at home on 25th Mar 2015. Nice clear amber with a red hue brew, large white foaming head: very un-lager like. Nutty and woody nose with a mild maltiness, the taste similar in nature: semi-sweet flavour from the malts, late bittering in the finish. Different and unusual for a lager based brew: I liked it.

bottle from trade with bartlebier, thanks frank. light amber color, small white head. smells fruity, mango, some dried fruits, malty sweetness, molasses, also light grainy smell, citric, quite nice smell. full body, very soft carbonation, quite sweet, honeyish, some grainy notes, strong malt backbone, also a light ash note at frist, hops come through after a while, grapefruity, mango. overall more bitter then sweet finish. bitterness gets more dominating on subsequent sips. a bit medical once the bitter and sweertness combine + the carbonation overall a bit better than expected.

Can from LCBO had at the Farm. Clear orange amber pour with minimal head. Aroma is big juicy hops - mango, pineapple, some pine and citrus too. Taste follows. Big malty backbone for juicy hop flavor. Really good. Palate is normal. Big mango flavor. Delicious IPA.
