Sample from bottle at Logitech Bierproeverij 8 - 13 dec 2024. As Zaansr Cocoa Porter. Color: Black, brown head. Aroma: Cocoa, roasted malt. Taste: Cocoa, dark chocolate, roasted malt. Just over medium body, just below average carbonation. Mwah.

0.33 l bottle from 'Drankgigant.nl', best before May 2025. Hazy, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, gently fruity, slightly vinous aroma of white grapes, gooseberry, hay and pineapple. Slightly sweet, rather dry, gently bitter, quite fruity, grassy, moderately vinous taste of white grapes, gooseberry, hay, white pepper and some pineapple, followed by a short, gently bitter, fairly dry finish. Medium body, rather effervescent mouthfeel, just average carbonation. Refreshing stuff, well-brewed.

Flesje gekregen van Tomhendriksen en thuis gedronken. Robijnrood tot donkerbruin bier met matig schuim dat als een film blijft liggen. Aroma is heel kruidig (anijs), pepernoten en in de verte wat salmiak. De smaak is (te) kruidig, anijs en peternoten. Nasmaak is zoetig, plakkerig en de (overdadige) anijssmaak blijft best hangen.

Clear pale blond to yellow beer, big fizzy aery off-white head, unstable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: very malty, hay, grains, a bit metallic, soapy touch, a bit floral. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: strong soapy bitterness, very unpleasant, very malty, grains, metallic, hay, cow fodder, a faint hint of citrus. Aftertaste: bitter, rather soapy, unpleasant bitterness, slightly metallic, meh. Not a good IPA of any kind.
