Description
Two Roads Brewing Company was founded in 2012 by four friends who dreamed for years of starting a craft brewery. We foster a “road less traveled” philosophy in the beers we make and how we make them. In that spirit, Phil Markowski, our award-winning Brewmaster and 27 year craft beer veteran has created an extensive lineup that takes a unique twist on classic beer styles. Two Roads was named one of the ten best breweries in America by Paste Magazine and has won many awards including gold for Belgian Lambic style Ale in 2016 at the Great American Beer Festival.
Two Roads isn’t just the logo on our brewery building, it’s our philosophy. Life always seems to offer up two ways to go. It just so happens, we prefer the one less taken and having some fun along the way – in our lives, our careers and especially for our beers! Now our “road less traveled” philosophy is being brought to life in the beers that we create and how we create them.

I broke my own rule and bought and drank this pumpkin beer before labor day but it was calling to me at whole foods and I had no choice. Pours nice ruby amber with one finger head. Nose is pumpkin spice and rum. The rum barrel comes through as does some wood, pumpkin pie filling, along with quite heavily spiced. Not too sweet but something in palate is a touch harsh. Pretty good.

16 oz. can purchased at Julio’s Liquors. Hazy gold color no head. Aroma has solid amount of yeast presence, banana, clove and hints of citrus.
Flavor is a carbon copy of the aroma. Lighter in body with a banana taffy after taste. Carbonation has a tingle with the banana taffy getting stronger as it warms. Overall it is an ok example of the style.

Can. An almost clear one, golden in color and with a small, off-white to white head. The aroma has some banana and cloves, but it’s the bubblegum that runs the show. Some wheat and malt in the flavor, it’s quite sweet, with some lemon, cloves and banana, but again it’s the bubblegum that is in the front. Medium body, with a nice carbonation level. Decent bitterness in the finish. Too much on the bubblegum side for me, but it’s a nice beer anyway. 140829

Tap at the Beer Temple, Amsterdam. Poured a clear straw colour with a thin white head and some broken lace. The aroma is grassy hop, yeast, light citrus. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a crisp clean hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish.
