Tap at the Beer Temple, Amsterdam. Poured a hazy light amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is yeast, acid citrus. The flavour is acid citrus with a mineral light banana palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap@Kings Arms, London (RBESG) - black pour with tan head. Big roasty malty aroma and taste, rye, caramel, bitter choc and coffee, burnt notes. Good.

On tap at Beer Temple. Clear pale golden colour, white head. Aroma of melon, lychee, very fruity, cloying. Flavour is light hoppy, fruity, melon, some pineapple, light wheat, light bitter finish. Light-bodied. Meh.

12 oz. bottle with a date of 7/22/14. Orange amber color with light bubbly head in the snifter. Tiny particles floating in the brew. Aroma of fruit ( light peach) but mostly strong pine hops. More like whole hop pellets from the home brewers supply shop.
Main base of the beer has some caramel/ toffee malt. The hops are earthy with just a ton of pine. The bitterness is long lingering and abrasive. And abrasive in this case is not pleasant because the alcohol also can be detected. Pretty dry texture. I think if they can integrate more fruit with more malt balance and hide the alcohol, this would improve it greatly.

Slightly hazy, crisp copper coloured body with a three centimetre tall tan head - this looks great and is probably the best looking light IPA i’ve had. Aroma of grass, perfume, flowers and a touch of very light malt. Light-bodied; Sharp perfume and grapefruit flavour of hops with a big dose of passionfruit, pineapple and mangoes - very strong of tropical fruit. Aftertaste shows a great hop profile with a very light malt vibe and some other subdued bitterness. Overall, a very nice light IPA that is perfect for the midst of summer or just in general as a lighter beer to drink a few of - very nice and perhaps the best i’ve had of this [rather infantile] style. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Good Beer in New York, New York on 19-July-2014 for US$2,29 sampled at home in Washington about a month later on 23-August-2014.

Cloudy golden coloured body with a pale white head. Very nice aroma of bananas, yeast, coriander seed, wheat and a good amount of spice. Medium-bodied; Strong yeast kick at first with a lot of wheat and grassy notes, but even more spice and yeast flavours. Aftertaste shows some very refreshing coriander seed flavours coupled with the strong yeast and wheat - very nice and refreshing. Overall, a very nice beer for the style, definitely good to sample if you can find this! I sampled this 16 ounce can purchased on 19-July-2014 from Good Beer in New York, New York for US$2.99 sampled on train from New York back home to Washington on 20-July-2014.
