Tap at the Beer Temple. Poured a cloudy light amber with a big frothy white head. The aroma is yeast, light grass hop. The flavour is light bitter with a light toothpaste hop, light malt, citrus palate and a lingering bitter finish. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation.

355 ml bottle. Pale golden body with a big, creamy white head. Aroma is rather mild with citric fruit and spices. Rather light in taste as well, medium sweet pale malt, fruity, slightly fruity acidic and moderate in bitterness. Medium to light body and a bit short in aftertaste. A bit to plain and one dimensional.

[ As Two Roads No Limits Hefewizen ].Unclear medium yellow color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is light malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, fruity, yeast, banana, bubble gum. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, yeasty, fruity, banana notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140829]

Keg at Beer Temple, 3rd September 14. Good aroma, some pine, not so much citrus. Taste is pine resin, very bitter some tropical fruit. Strong taste, ABV not so well hidden. Decent stuff

Pours mahogany into a shaker. Off-white head with little retention recedes to pool surface. Caramel, nutmeg, molasses, and pumpkin aromas. Sharp with sourdough and toffee upfront turning to creamy pumpkin. Rum does not make an appearance other than slight hints in the lasting bitter finish.

Draft @ The Ale House, Amesbury. Dark amber color. The aroma is mostly spice ( cinnamon, nutmeg and all spice) the flavor barely shows the rum barrel. Hints of vanilla and again with the spices. The pumpkin is hard to pick up with the spice. But what is here is a nice amount of earthy malts.
Ok, I’m going to bitch about season creep because honestly I would have enjoyed this more on a cool Autumn night instead of the 82 degree Labor Day I just finished. Maybe would have scored a tad better if it was a later September release date. I am still not thinking pumpkin just yet.
