Grabbed a glass while getting sushi to go my wife’s first sushi since pregnancy figured might as wel up infused style. Nice looking fairly clear pour. Nose is rich syrupy apple but not artificial. Tastes of green and red apple pulp, sugary but not overly sweet the apple dominates but some light vanilla and rice.

720 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 15 to 16%. Clear and colourless, like water, no carbonation. Aroma of alcohol and steamed rice, hints of mushroom and marzipan. Alcoholic flavour, notes of rice and moonshine. Tokubetsu was a new sake style for me, and another evidence that sake is just not my thing.

Small bottle at home as I slum it a tad. Clear fizzy pour. Nose is lightly floral and sweet sugary rice. Tastes of simple syrup, florals, lemon, grapefruit and candy. Sugary palate. Like a wine spritzer. Not my thang.

Bottle at the 2nd Annual Garvie Christmas Tasting. Pours clear with a few bubbles. More like a sweet white wine than anything up front. Fruity. Sweet wine vibe all the way through. Fizz lifts it above the ordinary. Bit lemonade maybe.
