180 ml bottle for a New Year's toast. Colorless and clear. Nose is fruity and sweet, koji and rice. Clean, sweet flavor with notes of citrus and pear. nothing special, gold is tasteless, but enjoyable enough.

19th June 2023 - 350ml can @ Shrewsbury Beer Share, Chez Sophie. Brought by me apparently, no memory of it. Very pale clear appearance, almost watery pale. Light sparkle. Quite a pleasant apple profile, nicely sweet, balanced.. despite the can having the word sake on the front this seems very much like a hard seltzer. Not bad though. Rated kindly.

From my sake backlog. Bottle backlog April 2013. Clear like water with a slightly oily body. Light in aroma, slightly alcoholic with fusel, hint of yeast and almond. Nice but a bit weak. Taste is warming, mild alcohol, light rice, hint of citric fruit, yeast and rather distinct umami. Medium body and volatile aftertaste as it should be. Mild but pleasant tasting sake.

125ml serving at Wagamama, Teesside Park. Clear very pale yellow colour, no head and aroma of rice, melon. Taste is sweet, rice, fruity, melon, some caramel notes and booze. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry warming boozy finish. Quite drinkable

19th June 2023, Shrewsbury Monthly Beer Swap in Chez Sophie. Five guys enjoying life taking bollox. Cheers Mat for the 350ml can of this weird one. Light perry like look, no head. Apparently it has potatoes, sweet potatoes and apples within it's make up. Certainly different and an interesting start to the evenings tasting session.

14/1/2023. Bottle at the Haderslebener tasting. Pours clear and colourless with a few short lasting bubbles. Aroma is floral, perfumed, rice water, rose, melon. Heavy sweetness, minimal bitterness. moderate body, oily sticky mouthfeel, fizzy.
