Description

Bottle (333 ml, Dank an Jonas!): Pale golden to golden with a greenish sheen, mid-sized lacy white head; bisquity-grainy nose over a flöwery-hoppy background; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, quite light bodied; becomes a bit drier towards the bisquity-hoppy finish. More a Märzen than a Pils......

(33cl bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a mid-sized foamy white head. Light-sweet strawy malty nose with hay and spicy, nettle-like hops. Light-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a crispy carbonation. Slightly chalky, strawy malty taste with herbal and spicy hops. Dry and moderately bitter hoppy finish. A fairly hoppy brew but not overly exciting (03.III.09).

Bottle (kindly delivered by joss!): Quite clear, deep golden, small stable loose off-white head; moderate to solid sweet-wheaty and fruity (ripe bananas) nose over a light caramelly background; solid sweet, slightly sourish flavour, medium bodied; stronger sweet-wheaty, slightly alcoholic and tart finish. Pleasant, well crafted stuff...........

Bottle. Grassy nose. Pale golden, big bubbles, white low lace. Situated on the bitter, dry and grassy side - feels north german, quite wellbalanced actually. Medium to light sparkly body. Grass retronasal and lingering. Quite plesant.

Bottle. Stable yeast - pours a clear orange golden with a off-white creamy lacing head, shaking the bottle vigorously clouds the beer off course - still pretty though.. Honeyish and fresh citric aromanotes which make me think of a belgian golden ale. Bready, light almond and banana, some tropical fruits. Medium chewy body, smooth mouthfeel. Well-balanced and pleasant to drink, a bit too easy actually, makes it a bit dangerous.

Bottle. Cloudy, neon yellow - supposed to be their Kristall, and at first I thought it was as it poured clearly, but it torns out the yeast just has good floccolation and sticks to the bottom. Pretty bright white iceberg head. Light wheaty aroma. Vanilla, wheat, light banana notes. Medium body, sparkly chewyness. pleasant enough.

Bottle (courtesy of Jonas !) Golden, quickly vanishing, slightly lacing white head; sweetish-grainy and slightly hoppy nose with a cardboardy touch; medium bodied, moderate sweet-bitter flavour; fruity and papery traces in the light bitter-sweet finish. Disappointing...........
