Aroma: inky, leather, some tobacco.
Taste: along the same lines, but it is very ashy with a touch of acidity.
Overall: it's ok now, but very good considering that it is 20+ years old.

A thin tan head on a dark body with a soft chocolate and cream nose. The citrus hops lead the profile and mix well with the chocolate and mild coffee elements. It has a solid body but the taste profile could have more depth to it. There is a touch of extra sweetness this time around, it seems.

Can from the brewery. Clear golden pour, with a small white head. Pretty basic ale..... Cereals, light and grassy. Easy drinking, dry and crisp. Good for what it is.

Can. Dark brown, with relish hues. Small beige head. Aroma Is very faint, some roast, light cocoa. Very low carb, thin mouth feel. Low bitterness finish. Light roast, light coffee.

Grapefruit zest, oil aroma, with thin grassiness. Slightly watery, soft carb. Slightly artificial flavour, watery finish, slightly muddled. Meh.

Jet black pour, with a large beige head. The aroma is quite sweet, huge notes of raisins, and brown sugar with some roasted malts. Thick, viscous mouth feel, with a very soft carb. The finish is a balanced mix of sweet, and bitter with huge dark, ripe fruit, and some light roast, with alot of sweet malts. Alcohol is well hidden, this is a nice sipper.

Very pale, light gold pour, with a small white head. Zesty aroma, herbal hops, hints of lemon. Malts are frisp and clean, solid cereals, but a tad thin. Low bitterness, solid beer.

Jet black, small beige head. Very nice coffe, roasty malt aroma, with some very nice pine resin hops. The mouthh feel is very soft, as well as the carb. A very nice balance between a porter and a resinous ipa.

Harz brown, small off white head. Light metallic aroma, mixed with a strong aroma of malted grains, and cereals. Some subtle sweetness, and light grasses. Light bitter finish, semi sweet malty after taste.
