Description
In 2011 beginnen Samuel Languy en Denys Van Elewyck met het brouwen “en stoemelings” vooraleer ze hun brouwerij officieel openen in 2014. Vandaag zijn ze, in een flexibele ruimte van 430 m², voortdurend bezig met het ontwikkelen en perfectioneren van hun aanbod en producten. Genesteld in de Marollen ligt de brouwerij En Stoemelings waar verschillende bieren gebrouwen worden die 100% traditioneel en lokaal zijn. Die volledig niet-geautomatiseerde productie brengt zo’n 600 flesjes per week voort! Het hele proces van vullen, bottelen, opslag, aankoop, verkoop en schoonmaak wordt met de hand gedaan. Dat ze in het hartje van Brussel liggen, is zeer belangrijk: de distributie is voornamelijk lokaal en concentreert zich op verkoop in de brouwerij zelf en enkele bierwinkels in Brussel.

Bxlbeerfest. Pours golden. Aroma is grainy, hoppy, sweetness. Flavor is sweet and bitter, hoppy, some sugar. Overall: ok.

7 3 8 3 15 Draft at BXL Beer Fest, Brussels ’17. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is floral with light fruits, peach and yeast. Flavour is light moderate sweet and light bitter. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation.

@ BXL Beer Fest. Hazy yellow colour, white foam. Very sweet (banana) and malty witbier, some spices. Not my favourite style.

Bottle shared at Cotteridge convention 05/03/2016. Many thanks to Garold for this one. A light hazed yellow golden coloured pour with a thin white head. Aroma is raw cereal grains, cereal, spicy pepper. Flavour is composed of liquorice, hint of smoke, sweet grains, orange, bitter finish. Palate is semi swet, moderate carbonation, grainy.

Bottle from the Brewery. Pours unclear yellow, good, stable and fluffy white head. Smell is aromatic , mild orange peel, aromatic wheat, fresh hop notes ( bit fruity ). Taste is rather bitter, grassy, veyr mild fruits ( lemon-like citrus notes ) some wheat. Mild taste, bit aromatic. Rather high carbo, ok body. Bit mineral notes as well. OK.

Bottle - Nice dark roast and some dark chocolate notes. Deep jet brown with a rich light brown head. Rich dark roast, nice dark toasty notes and a long finish. Solid beer.

Bottle - Soft fruity esters, hint of banana and nice citrus. Cloudy yellow with a nice rich white head. Light grains, slight citrus and a bit of a soapy finish.
