Bouteille 75cl à la source. Trouble acajou voire orange/amber, col fin beige. Arôme au nez malté léger impression de fumé et caramel. Houblon est discret et le fume apparait comme pas trop bien maitrisé. Palais est malté, les 8% sont bien là avec un fumé léger et fruité rouge approchant le caractère aigrelet. Amertume fine sur la fin avec un niveau levure restant assez présent. Retrouve encore un petit côté pomme phénol sur la fin et qui enlève au caractère de fumé qui était attendu. Bière un peu trop forte pour mettre le fumé en valeur. Retrouve uen certaine douceur sucre résiduelle qui perdure.

Thank you Sebletitje. 750 ml. bottle sampled @ Sebletitje’s Farewell Tasting. Dark brown amber with no head. Nose is very sweet malt & sugar with nasty burned plastic heavy smoke, cheap malts, burning leaves, discount malt syrup. Tastes like stale malt syrup sugar, leading into awful burning plastic office furniture, sugar, burned plastic, vaguely chemical, sugar malt, plastic. Body is plactic sugar furniture. Really didn’t like this one.

Little cloudy purple brown beer, small aery beige head. Aroma: sweet, very yeasty, banana, sugary, some caramel, not getting much smoke? MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: smoky start, peated, yeast, banana. Aftertaste: soft bitterness, bit sourish, sweet malts, yeast, ripe banana, hoppy touch.

Bottle shared Sebletitje @ Sebletitje’s Farewell tasting. Hazy red to red brown color, mall off-white head. Smell and taste malts, somewhat sweetish, light to moderately smoke. Meh.

Bouteille 75cl, BB 10.20.2017, batch# 02.09. Dommage qu’a 8€ on ne peut tjrs pas avoir une maitrise de ce qui sort de cette bouteille - gusher alert. Dorée trouble, col blanc épais, slow gusher dès l’ouverture et pendant qcq minutes. Arôme houblonné, noble avec de petites notes vertes fruitée versant sur mandarine et melon qui arrive une fois ouverte pendant un bon 15 min. Le tout reste orienté grains, malt pils. Palais est léger à seulement 4%; sec et terreux sans vraiment avoir une base de blanche belge malgré son profil malté. Le tout profite d’un bon ajout des houblons sans pour cela être trop dans l’aspect ’hoppy’, on reste dans du noble allemand avec un léger citronné. Amertume est fine et correcte pour le caractère de la bière. Ça commence à s’améliorer niveau bière, mais franchement dommage pour la perte dès ouverture.

F: not big, not long lasting, off white to yellowish. C: brown to dark brown, hazy. A: malty, candy sugar, light spicy, hint of orange. T: malt, candy sugar, spicy, orange peels, molasses, hint of alcohol, dark fruity, there are almost not smoky tones, for tripel not bad but as a smoky not at all, medium to full body, good carbonation, may be recipe will be improved in the future, 8,5% ABV, lot# 18.08, BB: 10/2017, 75cl bottle from the brewery.

T: malt, honey, banana, spicy, peach, candy sugar, caramel, medium full body, light floral bitterness, lower carbonation, not bad at all, good balanced and tasty, 7% ABV, lot# JBJ1, BB: stamp scribble probably 10/2017, 75cl bottle from the brewery.
