Cask gravity at Planet Thanet BF 2006, Ramsgate. Amber colour with bubbly beige head. Touch of diacetyl I think on the aroma, buttery and toffee. OK in mouth with more toffee and then earthy citrus hop finish. Too much butter/toffee for me though.

An amber beer with a collapsing beige head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of straw, and the flavor is sweet combined with a slight acidiy, and again dominated by notes of straw.

(Bottle 50 cl) Hazy amber golden with a very small head. Incredibly lovely, fruity aroma. Notes of caramel in the flavour with lots of aroma hops. Rather light body with a decent bitter finish. 080905

(Bottle 50 cl) Very, very pretty, dark amber colour with a small, beige head. Presumably clear and filtered. Incredibly soft mouthfeel - they must use some very nice water for this. Soft notes of roasted malt and caramel in both aroma and taste. Everything about this beer is soft, smooth and mellow. Perhaps the ultimate session beer. 250805

[Cask at the Volunteers Arms, GBBF, 2004] A yellow beer with a small off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of alcohol, yeast, and fruit. The flavor is sweet malty, rather hoppy, but also with notes of yeast and fruit. To me this is quite Belgian - even though it is based on a Continental Lager brewed with English yeast.
