Gravity cask at the Wandsworth Common Halloween Beer Festival - Le Gothique, London. Pours clear, red-brown with a bubbly tan head. The aroma holds mostly tangy dark fruits, some plum especially. Light sweet flavor with berries, dried fruits, more plum. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Light sweetness in the finish with further tangy dark fruits, faint earthy bitterness, background cocoa. Meh.

Cask at Grape & Grain. It pours near black with a small beige head. The nose is roasty, smoke, toast, light malt vinegar and stewed jammy fruits. The taste is rich roast, liquorice, coffee, light tang, mild acidity, light bitterness, some fruit and cola with a dry, roasty finish. Med body and fine carbonation. A tasty, robust stout.
