Bottle from Corks, Bristol. Opaque black with a slight tan head and no carbonation. Aroma of roasted malt, some toffee and a hint of creaminess. Surpsisingly light mouth feel, with sweet flavours of dark fruit, chocolate and caramel, finishing off pleasantly dry with some warming alcohol. Very good.

Cask handpull at Ship & Mitre BF, Liverpool. There seemed to be some confusion as to what this was, but the pump clip definitely said Good Beer not Gold. Pale coppe with thin beige head. Decent hoppy bitter with some fruit salad. Drinkable enough. Simple beer with excellent hoppy stinging finish.
