Description
Situated in picturesque Dentdale, our brewery is one of the most remote in the country. We have been crafting the finest ales since 1989 and all of the experience gained over the years really does make a difference. The uniqueness of using our own spring water combined with a plethora of passion and knowledge from our small, committed brewing team help us create beer that is truly special.

Bottle from Corks, Bristol. Opaque black with a slight tan head and no carbonation. Aroma of roasted malt, some toffee and a hint of creaminess. Surpsisingly light mouth feel, with sweet flavours of dark fruit, chocolate and caramel, finishing off pleasantly dry with some warming alcohol. Very good.

Cask handpull at Ship & Mitre BF, Liverpool. There seemed to be some confusion as to what this was, but the pump clip definitely said Good Beer not Gold. Pale coppe with thin beige head. Decent hoppy bitter with some fruit salad. Drinkable enough. Simple beer with excellent hoppy stinging finish.
