Description
The Féculerie farm, erected from the 14th to the middle of the 18th century, in Jandrain-Jandrenouille has been transformed into a brewery since the summer of 2007. Born in 2006, from the infatuation of two university comrades, the original equipment came from the berry brewery. Currently, Alexandre Dumont de Chassart continues the solo project and works to increase the capacity of the brewery as well as the development of new products.

Bottle. Pours yellow, hazy. Apricots, pineapple and some citrus notes in the aroma. The taste is very fruity, almost nectar-like. Small citrus-like sourness. Melon and apricot notes. Crisp american hoppiness in the finish. Very drinkable and unique.

Bottle from Moeder Lambic, Fontainas
Beautiful amber color; medium sized creamy head. Caramel aroma with some malt and vegetables. Lean body, with caramel flavor, on the dry side in the beginning, sweetness appears later; there is a light touch of vegetables, unwanted; salty. Correct bitterness; some alcohol warmth in the final. Rather boring.

Small dirty-beige head over red-brown hazy beer. Leafy-earthy nose, not rich but complex; autumn leaves and chestnuts. Some hidden, but very noble and enriching hops. Earthy again, brown leaves, soyamilk, and again "dark" hosp. Medium bodied, medium carbonated, but refreshing and giving a ’nourishing’ impression. Authentic recipe or not, again a masterpiece by the Jandrain-Jandrenouille gang. Probably the best new Walloon brewer.

Bottle @ home. Amber orange appearance with a cream colored head. Bready, tangerine, light grapefruit, light spiciness, barnyard nose. Orange/tangerine/apricot citrusness, light barnyard, light funkiness, lightly spicy, Belgian ale flavor. Slightly spicy, citrusy aftertaste. A little disappointing.

Bottle from Au Grain d’Orge, Crissier
Cloudy blond color; generous head. Very nice hoppy aroma, fresh, fruity, delicate, with citrus fruits and passion fruit. The mouthfeel is very dry, and the body is weak; the wheat flavor is poor (paper-like); but the hopping is good, sharp, citrusy, and manages to raise the fate of this beer. The final is also a bit weak, but fresh.
Pleasant.

Bottle, 7%. Mild hoppy aroma, caramelly and slightly American smelling. Almost clear chestnut colour. Good stable tan head. The flavour has a little of the same caramel as the aroma, but also some spicy hop notes, like Saaz or something. The beer is very clean for a Belgian and finishes slightly rough, probably from the hops.

A golden ale with no head. In aroma, a sweet frankincense, creamy, curacao, not bad. In mouth, a smooth incensed saison with sweet creamy mouthfeel, field honey, not bad. Bottle at Mondiale 2011, June 10 2011.

750 ml. Deep amber, hazy body. Fizzy head, off-white, diminishing. The aroma is malty with toasted grain and cookie with notes of flowers, celery, clove, basement and apple. The flavor is moderatley sweet, lightly bitter and lightly acidic. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately bitter and lightly to moderately acidic. Medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation. The beer tastes grainy at first with noticable flavors of tart apple. Nothing off-putting about the beer, but nothing all that exciting either.

Bottled 750ml (Arkadia, no chance to see what is BB, messed)
Deep amber color, small beige head. Aroma is hayish and earthy (even barnyard) with some caramel and alcohol. Medium-bodied. Flavor has sweetish caramel/crystal malts, red currant, strawberries then some alcohol in the finish. Quite berryish-sweety Saison. Not much bitterness. This beer may pair with some greasy food well. As for sessioning, not so interesting.
