The Féculerie farm, erected from the 14th to the middle of the 18th century, in Jandrain-Jandrenouille has been transformed into a brewery since the summer of 2007. Born in 2006, from the infatuation of two university comrades, the original equipment came from the berry brewery. Currently, Alexandre Dumont de Chassart continues the solo project and works to increase the capacity of the brewery as well as the development of new products.

12/11/10/11//11

Hazy golden coloured body with a large white head. Nice full flavour of coriander seed, strong hops and a good bit of honey. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong hop flavour with a lot of honey sweetness and a very mellow coriander seed freshness. Afteraste is mellow, clean and dry if anything, but fairly mild. Overall, pretty nice - definitely great to try with only mild flavours and some interesting hop tastes for the style. I sampled this beer on draught as 25 cL from Chez Moeder Lambic Fontinas in Bruxelles, Belgium on 01-January-2011 for €3,20.

Draft @ Moeder Lambic Fontainas.

[3/3/11] Draught at Moeder Lambic Fontainas in Brussels. Slightly hazy golden with a medium white head. Aroma of floral and citric hops, earth and some yeasty fruitiness. Flavor has some slightly bready sweetness at first, then continues with some drier earthy yeast and finishes with citrusy hop bitterness. Medium-bodied. Nice and refreshing.

draft @ Moeder Lambic De couleur ambre, col blanc.
