Description
The Féculerie farm, erected from the 14th to the middle of the 18th century, in Jandrain-Jandrenouille has been transformed into a brewery since the summer of 2007. Born in 2006, from the infatuation of two university comrades, the original equipment came from the berry brewery. Currently, Alexandre Dumont de Chassart continues the solo project and works to increase the capacity of the brewery as well as the development of new products.

Draft @ Moeder Lambic.

06/03/2011 - on tap @ Zythos Beer Festival (2011-100)

Cloudy yellow to light orange beer, creamy white head, adhesive and little stable. Aroma: soft pineapple and passion fruits, some candi sugar. MF: soft carbon, light to medium body, watery texture. Taste: some pineapple, some citrus. Aftertaste: a little pineapple and citrus, some dairy and very faint only. This is just slightly fermented pineapple juice. Absolutely not impressed. Too bad as I was really looking forward to this one.

Beautiful, reddish brown beer wih medium and white head. Aroma is quite mild, red berries, arctic rasberries, spicyness and fennel. Taste is also quite mild, anis, spicyness, some sourness and hint of roastines. Nice and slippery to drink. Hardly described beer, aromas are light but still complex. Refreshning beer, worth to try.

Bottle, 75cl. It pours a slightly hazy body, copper-colored and with a finger-thick off-white head leaving cute lacings. The aroma is dominated by the hops. Fruity, citrusy and resiny hops and some yeast. Malts left in the back, but with some caramel. Dry and full-bodied. The flavor has some caramel and yeast, a pleasant bitterness, and fruity, citrus peel tasting hops. A bit short on the finish, mostly hoppy. Nothing impressive really, but it drinks quite easily and tastes quite pleasant. 101016
