Description
In 2014, we started Verdant to make beers that we love. Nothing’s changed. It’s still about taste, quality, and all ’round deliciousness. Think juicy, hoppy, unfiltered, hazy beers that are always vegan! That’s us. Apart from the vegan bit. We’re bad at being vegan, but our beers are great at it. We’re independent, and always will be — that way we can continue to push boundaries and make beer we love, and hopefully you will love them too.

Can picked up at Fresh Fields Market, Croydon. Canned on 28th April 2017. It pours hazy gold with a medium white head. The aroma is soft, sweetish, juicy, lemonade, yellow plum, stone fruit, cereal, bread and biscuit. The taste is crisp, dry, moderate bitterness, green, grassy, straw, stone fruits, bread and biscuit with a dying finish. Light - medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Well rounded and easy.

Can shared in Buffalo - sourced from Mother Kelly’s. Pours lightly hazy yellow-gold with a creamy, white head. Nice aroma, a little dank, mellow pale bread, hay, tangerine. Medium sweet flavour with pale bread, some flinty minerals, citrus rind, peach. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with slight alcohol warmth, more citrus fruits, pith, pale grains, peach, grapefruit. Great stuff overall.

Can. Beer Central, Sheffield. Murky gold. Film of loose bubbles. Nose has bubblegum hop. Ripe pineapple. Fusty orange. Mandarin. Sweet bready malts. Very NE. Taste has pithy and pulpy, citrus bitterness. Soft sweetness. Mouthfeel is a little green and scratchy. Sticky on the lips. Finishes with some hop burn bitterness. Very decent, and I could do a load, but it is a little heavy on the green hop to be perfectly balanced.

Can from Cotteridge Wines; hazy amber pour with a big frothy off white head, aroma has big tangerine and pine, taste has a pretty big malt backbone that is overwhelming the hop action which turns out to be subdued tangerine and pine.
