Description
In 2014, we started Verdant to make beers that we love. Nothing’s changed. It’s still about taste, quality, and all ’round deliciousness. Think juicy, hoppy, unfiltered, hazy beers that are always vegan! That’s us. Apart from the vegan bit. We’re bad at being vegan, but our beers are great at it. We’re independent, and always will be — that way we can continue to push boundaries and make beer we love, and hopefully you will love them too.

Tap. Hop City Festival. Glowing gold. Very hazy. Film of clingy, lasting, white head. Nose has tinned fruit salad. Mango. Passion fruit. Ripe stone fruit. The full works, really. Taste follows suit, with a juicy, ripe sweetness. Lightly bitter, with some balancing dryness. Soft and clean mouthfeel. Drinks way under the ABV. Light bitterness to finish. Really good.

Can from Bottle Baron. Cloudy bronze body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of pithy orange, melon and bread. Flavour of peppery hops, salted melon and tangy lime chutney. Medium body with a powdery mouthfeel. Light fizz. Very enjoyable. I really like this trend for hazy, full flavoured IPAs.

330ml can from Favourite Beers, Cheltenham. Very hazy orange colour with a large frothy slightly off-white head - which unlike other Verdant beers is quite long lasting. Aroma: very hoppy, fruity, pithy, grapefruit, peach. Taste: more of the same, juicy tropical, fruits, pithy, grapefruit, mango, peach, malts, quite a bitter finish, dry. Medium body and carbonation, smooth mouthfeel, alcohol well hidden so it’s still quite drinkable. This is a solid DIPA.

Can at home in Barbados, 10th April 17. Pours golden, not much head. Aroma is tangerine, light citrus, very pleasant. Taste is light pine, tangerine, apricot skin and stone, bitterness is present and is perfect unlike some of the other EC IPAs lately, the balance with a great malt grain presence is impressive. Otherall this DIPA has great qualities and balance.

Off white fluffy head on a light orange body. Medium bodied & a bit of cloying on the back. Bitter citrus, orange, hops & long tangy finish. Good one.
