Description
In 2014, we started Verdant to make beers that we love. Nothing’s changed. It’s still about taste, quality, and all ’round deliciousness. Think juicy, hoppy, unfiltered, hazy beers that are always vegan! That’s us. Apart from the vegan bit. We’re bad at being vegan, but our beers are great at it. We’re independent, and always will be — that way we can continue to push boundaries and make beer we love, and hopefully you will love them too.

Keg at the Cock, 27/03/17. Golden amner with a decent off white covering. Nose is caramel malt, light pine needle, straw, bitter orange, toasted bread. Taste comprises grapefruit, mango, orange marmalade, toasted brioche, light spice, fresh grass. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, closes with lightly aggressive hop bitterness. Decent enough DIPA ... drinks pretty easily but expected a bit more from these guys.

Can. Can’t recall where from. Murky gold. Super foamy, noisy head, that dies down to a film and ring of off white. Nose has lemon biscuits. Peppery spice. Sweet grain. Fruity and yeasty. Notes of tropical hop throughout. Taste has soft, bready sweetness. A little dry and a little bitter. Creamy mouthfeel. Feels a little boozy, maybe. Some estery vibes on the finish.

Can. Slightly hazy and golden in colour, with a short-lived, white, head. Massive grapefruit and pineapple aroma, with a grassy hop kick. Flavour was also dominated by fruits, with a touch of balancing, biscuity, malt and hoppy, dry finish. Good.
