Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 22D). Bottle 50 cl - Batch L20215X (BBF: 06-2017). AROMA: faint dried grass aroma, followed by a medium spicy-hot alcohol presence and a medium caramel note. APPEARANCE: light amber color and just slightly hazy. medium ivory head with medium retention. some lace formation. TASTE: medium alcohol note, almost with a solventy character. medium-low isovaleric acid note from oxidation. medium caramel malt background. low yeasty flavor. medium bitterness with a dry and bitter finish. wheat flavor not detected. PALATE: medium-high body with medium carbonation. light smooth alcohol warming. OVERALL: an wheatwine where the wheat is absent and with minor technical flaws.

[ As Maldita Russian Imperial Stout ].Clear dark black brown color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, dark fruit - berry. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, chocolate, roasted, dark fruit - berry.
