Relativt pålitelige notater fra godt besøkt føradventsmøte i Jæren Fråholdslag. Vi jobber effektivt med kveldens agenda, og der er naturligvis ikke et promillefritt blodomløp i sikte i det vi gyver løs på denne 0,33 flasken fra min importkoffert. Brunsvart med fint skum som varer. Mørke malter, nytraktet kaffe, mørke karamellchokolader og litt urter. Fin maltkropp, passelig karbonert og en tørr avslutning med mersmak.

0,33 belønning etter levadatur, på balconasen i Funchal: nesten helt klar lys gylden med ok skum. Floral og fin med druer, lys malt og toner av honningmelon og brød. Lett urtebitterhet og en fornemmelse av saison i avslutningen. Og nok et nytt portugisisk bryggeri for statistikken min! Fra lokal supermercado.

33 cl bottle.Opaque copper color. Big head.Good retention and lacing. Some tropical fruits and caramel aroma. Flavor is dominated by spruce/herbs hops.High bitterness. No booze. High carbonation.Light body.Thin texture.Long bitter finish. Not the archetypal wheat ale but quite enjoyable. Sipped.

Backlog. Hazy deep amber colour with a mediumsized foamy white head. Aroma is floral, some grassy, toffeeish and mild alcohol tones with dried fruits too. Flavour is dried fruits, some bitter wooden tones with mild alcohol sweetness as well as some floral and mild citrusy tones. Somewhat dry palate, so fermented rather dry. OK, but lacks some oomph.

330 mL bottle. Pours a reddish-orange color, with a small, beige head. The nose is cranberry, sea salt, wet grass, light cocoa, and lime zest. Off-sweet and juicy, with a musty, tannic bitterness. Light to medium body, sticky, and astringent. Fun and interesting.

330 mL bottle at the Small House. Pours dark brown, with a small, beige head. The nose is cloves, smoke, vanilla, pumpernickel, light rubber, and straw. Sweet and grainy, with a mellow, funky bitterness. Medium body, dusty, and slick. Interesting and fun, but kinda past it and dried out.
