Bottle from Systembolaget. Clear nose. Nice mahogany colour. Nice grassy hop at the end of the sip. Felt exactly like how a bitter should feel. Great stuff. (29/8/22). ---- Bottle from Systembolaget. Lovely nutty aroma. A pint of bitter exactly as it should look and taste. Moorish nutty hop flavours. 3.6 to 3.7. (13/3/23) --- Bottle from Systembolaget. Didn't come across as charming this time. Extremely nutty. 3.7 to 3.6.

Cask at the 31st Ealing Beer Festival, Walpole Park, 15/07/22. Dark mahogany brown with a decent beige head. Nose is dark malts, charr, light smoke, toffee, chocolate, raisins. Taste comprises dark malts, roasted bite, toffee, dried fruit esters, smoky twang. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Not bad ... guessing some kind of peated whisky used here ... maybe just a touch overly smoky for my liking.
