Cask at Pigs Ear '21, day two, 01/12/21. Pitch black with a tan cap. Nose is peaty, dark malts, spice, treacle toffee, dried fruit rinds. Taste comprises fruit cake, light roast, dark fruit esters, toasted brown sugar, earthy, smoked malt presence. Full bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a warming alcohol spike. Big chewy MoFo ... fun sipper.

Gravity cask at Pigs Ear 2021 - Hackney. Pours black-brown with a frothy, off-white head. Light-medium sweet flavour with notes of grape, blackberry, background roast and cocoa, mild earthy bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Dark fruits in the finish, some fruity gummies. Enjoyable.

Cask at the pigs ear beer festival 2021. A oily black coloured pour with a halo of tan head. Aroma is earthy smoked rubber, grass, brown sugars green apple. Grass. Palate is semi sweet tangy smokey. Ok. Peaty tangy.

Gravity cask at Pigs Ear 2021 - Hackney. Pours black, oily, with a small, bubbly tan head. Meaty, fairly sweet, some iodine, chewy chocolate, pear, smoke, raisins, ash. Full bodied, oily and chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, lightly sticky, more hefty dark malts, rich peat, cocoa, scorched earth. Impressive. Nice peaty, old-school BA impy.

Gravity cask at Pigs Ear 2021 - Hackney. Pours clear, deep brown with a thin, creamy tan head. Medium sweet flavour with unsubtle vanilla beans, very mild coconut, some chocolate, low roast, low bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation; decent condition. Sweet finish, oily vanilla, a little cocoa. Enjoyable.

Gravity cask at Pigs Ear 2021 - Hackney. Pours clear gold with a modest, foamy white head. Lightly sweet with dry pale mats, mild phenolic character, grapefruit pith. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Pithy finish, a little chlorine, lemon rind. So so.

Gravity cask at Pigs Ear 2021 - Hackney. Pours mostly clear, rich gold with a small, bubbly white head. Nice fresh hop character, modest sweetness, some leaves, grass, citrus. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Mellow grassy bitterness to finish, some sun-kissed malts. Enjoyable.
