Very hazy gold beer, good off white head. Palate is airy, semi dry and crisp. Light seltzer. Light lemony citrus, trace of sherbet. Finishes light and semi dry with a mild tang. Pretty drinkable.

33cl bouteille splt with Michele @ Prestesto, Bologna. BB 21/12/2014, lotto# L1208. Une petite perle que ce barley wine. Trouble acajou laissant un filament doré sur le verre. Aucun col à déplorer. Bière servie à t° de pièce. Arôme est fortement malté avec ce petit côté pointe de soja, sherry et léger balsamique ponctué par de fines notes boisées. Palais garde ici aussi ce côté réchauffant, liquoreux avec un rappel soja (en positif). Garde aussi ce profil boisé d’un vin Xerès-Sherry pour une effervescence très faible voire quasi nulle. Pointe chêne, malt crystal, caramel, léger chocolat et levure résiduelle. Amertume subtile perce en fin de bouche qui balance bien cet aspect liquoreux plus présent.
