Bottle from GBBF 2015 and drunk at home. Very dark brown almost black beer lasting beige head. Smoked sausage/bacon aroma which is quite light but there. Not ashy. Finish is a little ashy though. Some dark fruits on the aroma. Some decent mouthfeel. Bit of sweetness. Not really chocolate. But some dark fruits, some sweetness, like a dark fruit crumble. Really interesting. Good smoked. Balanced. Hops on the finish. I liked it muchly.

Keg at GBBF 2015. It pours cloudy gold with a thick, foamy white head. The nose is soft, juicy, peach, apricot, doughy action, light sherbet and earth. The taste is smooth, bitter, toasty, piney fresh, bready malt, orange peel, minerals and grass with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. easy - going and quaffable. Solid.

33cl bottle pours a murky, deep orange with some frothy, white head. Nose has a lovely blend of honey comb and light port, caramel, mild resin. Flavor has lots of chestnut honey, mild pine, port, bubblegum. Full bodied, sticky finish.

On tap @La Tana (Rome). Pours amber with a decent white head. Aroma of smoked meat, malt, hops, grass, pine, resin. Flavour is confused, the smoked notes and hops don’t match well at all. Medium body, medium carbonation. This is a very poor revolution...

A hazed golden wit with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light Epsom salts, herbaceous character, OK. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light Epsom salts, light Brett, light pepper and citrusy, nice. Bottle at Mondial 2015.
