Bottle from the brewery that's been in my fridge for some time. Kicking off the first Sunday of football season with this one. Nice, dark brown color with a frothy tan head and some coating and sticky lace. Strong boozy aroma of whiskey and wood. Roasted malt, grains, and a little chocolate. Smooth, creamy feel. Pretty good.

Slightly hazy golden and light copper coloured body, with a nice, three centimetre tall pure white head on top that fades quite quickly. Aroma of pale malt, some cardboard, lactose and a dose of yeast and bread, all with a light corn aroma and a dash of grain. Light to Medium-bodied; Assertive grain and malty flavours at first with some earthiness noticeable along with a smooth sweetness, showing lactose and sugars from canned corn. Aftertaste is a bit underwhelming with a hint of grass, coupled with a lot more lactose, grain, canned corn and dry earthy malts. Overall, a decent cream ale, but showing a bit too much pungency and astringency at first, but the concept is about right here, plus it was in a nice can, which helps. If you are a fan of the style or something different than the typical IPA, this might be a good option for you! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint can purchased from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 02-July-2016 for US$2,75 sampled at home in Washington on the Fourth of July, 2017 for my three beer celebration - red/white/blue, and this was sampled as my ’White’.

Draught @ Randolph Beer - Wburg. Milky pale yellow with small frothy white head, faint earthy aroma, medium carbonation, a bit salty - earthy taste with vanilla aroma, smooth body, long medium bitter funky finish. Very smooth and well balanced.

Crisp light golden coloured body with an amber glow and a hint of copper, as well, all with a nice, single centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of grass, resin a touch of pine and a lot of hoppiness. Light to Medium-bodied; Fresh hop flavour with a big piney flavour along with some more subtle grapefruit notes, all with a smooth malt backbone, some small amount of sugars and a dose of citrus complexity near the finish. Aftertaste shows some grass, a lot of herbs, a little resin and a good malty complexity throughout. Overall, a nice beer with plenty of flavours, most of them being hoppy and bitter, but showing good throughout. I sampled this sixteen ounce can purchased a few minutes prior at Beer Table Pantry in Grand Central Terminal in New York (Grand Central), New York on 09-June-207 for US$5,00 sampled a few minutes later in Central Park after my girls went on the carousel on 09-June-2017.

The appearance was a hazy golden yellow color with a slight transparency about it. Carbonation could be seen rising to fill a small white semi-foamy head. Slight lace.
The aroma had some sweet banana, some pear, light green apple, white grapes/vinous and some light freshly cut grass. Subtle bready/Belgian yeastiness at the end.
The flavor blended the sweet to the vinous sour in a nice way. Some pleasant notes of earthy sweetness slide in. Not much of an aftertaste, but finished with a bit more banana sweet, green apple and grassiness.
The feel was medium bodied with a good sipping quality about it. ABV felt as projected. Carbonation felt good. Smooth yet some spicy harshness gently hits.
Overall, pretty good tripel that I could have again as the vinous quality wasn’t overbearing.

The appearance was a ruddy amber burnt color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head. Messy lace.
The aroma had some sweet Belgian sugars, light banana, some bubblegum, touch of earthiness, slight wood, low amount of citrus pulp and ended with a little bit of a herbal and cereal sort of features.
The flavor leaned towards the Belgian sweet side. Light spices entered in here. Slight Belgian sweet aftertaste and finish.
The feel was about medium bodied with a good sipping quality about it. Carbonation and ABV felt good.
Overall, pretty good Belgian strong ale, but I have to admit, spices didn’t really show enough pizazz in the aroma. I think I could come back to this.

The appearance was a black color with a thin tan semi-foamy head. No lace.
The aroma had some roast, light smoke, chili pepper heat, fair amount of lime, light milk chocolate and some ash.
The flavor blended all of the previously mentioned aromas together fairly nice. No aftertaste but a semi-lime sweet to tart and ash-like finish.
The feel was just a tad underneath of medium bodied with a decent sipping quality about it due to the chili burn which wasn’t overbearing, just noticeable. ABV felt fine. Carbonation felt good.
Overall, quite interesting and pretty much a palate wrecker. I could see myself coming back to this.

The appearance was a light amber color with a finger’s worth of off white semi-foamy head. No lace.
The aroma had some floral hop sweetness, gentle floral bitterness, light grassiness, slight hop spice, bright citrus pulp. Ended with a little bit of vanilla.
The flavor blended the floral hop sweetness along with the vanilla to the slow bitterness component. Barely any aftertaste, but had a nice vanilla sweet sort of slight floral finish.
The feel was between light and medium on the body with a pretty good sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine along with the ABV.
Overall, an APA with a sturdy bitterness yet smooth enough from the vanilla portions. Quite nuanced and worthy of coming back to.

Poured into a tulip, the appearance was a hazy burnt orange / copper color with a thin white foamy/fizzy white head. No lace.
The aroma had a sweet to sour floral to earthy, sweet honey-ed, woody, citrusy, grassy, and herbal qualities melding together
The flavor gently leaned towards the sour side with the honey pulling back some of the sour fairly nice. Well blended aftertaste of the wood, Brett, and honey following into the finish.
The feel was about a light to medium on the body with a decent sipping quality about it due to the sour level. It wasn’t too acidic, but noticeable. ABV and carbonation felt appropriate.
Overall, pretty good sour ale worthy of coming back to.
