Impressive stuff. Great depth of character for the ABV. Rich roast, bitter cocoa, tobacco, ash, earth. Nice body, good condition. Lingering bitter bite. Moreish aftertaste. Really sound.

Can at Tapps Landudno. Opaque gold. Frothy foamy white head. Aroma has is light. Slightly vinous. Herbs. Sweet doughy malts. Flavourwise it has a hint of pepper. Ligh woodiness. A hint of the vinous. Underlying malts. Light. Thin to slick. Average fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Relatively refreshing but also Relatively bland whereas I would want more bitterness from a West Coast Pils.

Tap at Tapps, Conwy. Hazy-opaque light gold. Thin foamy white head. Aroma has a dry sourness to it- citrusy - and underlying sweetness. Flavourwise it's quite tart and butter. Sour citrus and herbs. Slightly woody. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-average carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Punchy if somewhat one dimensional.

Great balance, lightly dank, good juicy citrus hops, touch of green, background pale bread, mellow rindy bitterness. Quite drinkable.

Can from The Beer Cave. Hazy pale golden body with a thick white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of pine needles and lavender. Flavour of grapefruit and lemon zest. Medium body with a slick texture. Light fizz. This is very good - one of the best west coast IPAs I’ve had in a while.

Very nice IPA, mildly hazy, fresh tropical fruits, bit of rindy bitterness, some pale piney notes. For me, it lands between an NEIPA and a WCIPA. All around, highly enjoyable.

Can bought at Elusive. An opaque copper gold. Foamy white head soon thins out and goes translucent. Aroma is resinous, with added sawdust. Peripheral marmalade citrus and spice. Punchy resinous bitterness. Tart citrus in the mix. Gooseberries. Underlying malts are more prominent into the finish. Some marmalade and juice laying low as a pay off. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Yeah. What I want in a Westie.

Thin off white head on an unclear amber coloured body.
Grain, ashtray & malt aroma.
Medium bodied, sharp thinning out to a cloying back.
Malt, grain, biscuit & faint fruited tastes.
Quite boring actually.
