Bottle thanks to minutemat. Appearance - opaque black with a lovely fawn head. Nose - dark chocolate and orange. Hazelnuts. More subtle than the Terry version. Taste - sweet chocolate orange. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - sweet but nice.

330ml bottle from Stori, Bala. Pours deep amber with good off-white head. Lightly sweet malt / rye aroma. Taste is smooth with a nice sweet rye-led character, the amarillo and mosaic brightening things up nicely on the palette. Light earth and caramel. A delicious beer. Finally an exciting brewery emerging from North Wales.

330ml bottle from Stori, Bala. Pours dark with large frothy tan head. Aroma of smoke, dark malts and dark chocolate. Taste is moderately smooth with bitter dark chocolate and dark malts. Like the BBNO chocolate orange stout I had recently this lacks orange flavours, altho I do get some mirage-like jaffa cake zest on the finish. Decent.

Hazy dark blond. Very floral and aromatic. Cool and fresh tasting. Fine balance of malts and hops with light caramel. Great session beer.

330ml bottle from Stori Beer & Wine, Bala. Pours hazy copper with a frothy white head. Presents a soft citric hop aroma with very faint orange hop glimpses, the grapefruit bitterness kind of taking precedent on the palette. A commendable effort for this new brewery.
