Bottle @ Vinomondo, Conwy. Golden with a small head. Hoppy ale, with a fruitiness in both aroma and taste, but a very bland one.

Bottle from Vinomondo, Conwy. Golden-blonde with a very thin head. Hoppy, without a lot of obvious wheat character, but it’s a tasty enough brew all the same. Has a hint of lager malt.

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Danny. Pours clear brown with a frothy, tan head. The aroma holds lightly toasted brown bread, soft roast. Light sweet flavour with light tangy dark malts, earth, leather, berries, vague dry cocoa. Light bodied with light carbonation. Dry finish, some toasty bread, subtle cocoa. So so.

Bottle at L42. It pours clear dark brown with a medium light tan head. The aroma is earthy, toasty, treacle, malt loaf, brown bread, cardboard and toast. The taste is earthy, toasty, wood, tannin, cardboard, cacao, leather, dirt and muted spice with a drying finish. Medium body and high, foamy carbonation. Pretty basic and earthy.
