330ml bottle: BB 13th May 18. Poured into a Leffe chalice at home on 30th Apr 18. Slight haze to the dark amber body, quickly fading off-white head. Hop centric brew with a good piney, resin aroma and taste. Good malty base , the hops really rule the whole brew, it's a hop bomb of a beer. I really liked it.

Bottle split at Bodney, thanks to the Wingman, 12/04/18. Hazed orange amber with a well presented egg shell white head. Nose is honeydew melon, ripe citric peel, caramel, bitter hop exhaust. Taste comprises caramel, orange pith, citric tinged straw, over ripe tropical fruits. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with slightly astringent grassy hop bitterness. Passable DIPA but a touch old skool and basic.

330ml bottle; BB 6th Sep 18. Obtained from Chez Sophie in Shrewsbury. Poured (twice) into an old 0.25 litre tankard badged for Bolten Ur-Alt and given to me at the brewery, many years ago. Looks like an Alt, clean and amber in colour, huge creamy off-white foaming crown on top (of each pour). The nose has a malty leaning, woody and earthy also. The taste is semi-sweet malty molasses, again with some woody and earthy notes. This is beer number five in a random live tasting session with myself, it's the best beer so far.

330ml bottle from Chez Sophie, poured into a La Chouffe badged tulip glass at home on 21st April 2018. Dark body, brown with a red hue when held up to a light source, tanned head which was a bit thin and weak. Malty molasses rule the nose and taste with a German Black Bread leaning in both the aroma and taste. One of the best 'Dunkel Biers' I have had, fancy it coming from North Wales!

Bodney Bier Huis bottleshare. Thanks to Davey Wingman. Hazy gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light, dry, decent fine carbonation. Aged tasting malts, mildly sweet. Pine and bruised orange. Dry finish brings some bitterness. A little basic but drinkable.
