[ As Hornbeam Dave Jollys Diamond Geezer Alc. 4.2%. ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, hay, tasted, fruity, dusty, light to moderate hoppy, citrus, lemon peel, grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Cask, gravity at Banbury Beer Festival 06-05-10 Pours gold with some stray bubbles across the top. Good hoppy nose, fresh and a little zingy. Nice hoppiness in the mouth, hops are crisp and clean, refreshing beer with a nice dry finish. A6 A3 F6 P3 Ov12 3.6

Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, nutty - damp stained - earthy notes, light hoppy, citrus. Flavor is light moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Cask handpull at The Ship & Mitre, Liverpool. Gold colour, with a thin white head. Lovely hop on this. Needs a little bit more malt to back it up but good nettle spicy hop. Good.

Cask at the Wenlock Arms, London on 20th January 2010. Brown with an offwhite small head. Initial chocolate burst (UK drinkers - think Bournville); blend of citric and bitter hop aromas, a zingy mouthfeel and a very bitter aftertaste. An interesting beer.

Cask at Smithfield Hotel, Manchester. An amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of butter, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and citrusy hops as well as some butter and metal, leading to a dry metallic finish. The body is light.

Cask gravity at Pigโs Ear BF 09. Very dark ruby, lasting thin ivory head. Roasted choc aroma. Dry malt, smells quite full. Enormously drinkable, doesnโt taste of 6%. I liked it. Smooth, with hop finish, really quite bitter.

Cask. A deep red beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of malt - sweet as well as roasted as well as notes of soy sauce. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt again both sweet and roasted, leading to a dry, bitter, and roasted finish.
