Cask at the Three Guineas, Reading. Reddish chesnut with a thin white head; aroma of autumn fruits; the flavour is fruity, but also dry with hints of black treacle; the finish has some sharply bitter hops and a touch of smoke. Excellent.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 2/12/09. Deep gold in colour with a decent, off-white head. Aroma of hay, biscuit malts and a touch of fruit. Flavour of sweetish malts, with a hint of apricot, fruity hops and decent bitter finish. Ok.
