Description
Creative brewing is all about not sticking to the same old formula. Since 2008 we have experimented with different combinations of hops and ingredients to find both traditional and excitingly new tasting ales. We brew it with the care and attention we believe it deserves. Finest English malt is the base for all Backyard Brewhouse beers but it does not stop there. Combinations with hops such as New Age American, Old English, Slovenian and New Zealand as well as one or two other secret ingredients have helped make all our beers popular and distinctive. We are committed to creating new and interesting beers to sit alongside our range of core and regular products.

440ml can from Home Bargains. Pours a relatively clear gold, good white head. Very light floral aroma. Not a lot going on to taste, very empty with very light floral hop expression, very light malt sweetness, soft bitterness, finishing dry. A bit forgettable.

Half-pint, cask ale at The Bull. Shared with Finn. A bubbly ring to the rim of the surface, clear pale golden body, scattered lacing. Subdued aromas of ripe lemon. Biscuit, white bread, and lemony hops to the taste buds. Grain-fruity ending with distant bitterness to it. Drinks well. Satisfying. (Birmingham 14.02.2023).

500ml bottle from Anthony's of Wellington. Drank at home on 25th January 2023. Amber body, almost clear, the head a white affair. Malty nose and taste with some sweet caramel as it's base. There is also a mild hop bitterness towards the finish with a mini-citrus leaning.
