Keg @ Fighting Cocks, Oakengates alongside a very good pork pie and mustard. Pours jet black, with a frothy beige collar. Aroma brings light coffee, chocolate malt. Overall character focuses on prominent chocolate malt, semi-sweet with some mild roast and coffee glimpses. Very good.

Sample, thanks Danlo for this. Murky dishwater brown. Confident ginger presence on the nose, continuing to taste with a herbal, vegetal, lightly spiced character, a touch dry, medium bodied.. Not too bad for a carrot saison.

Sample thanks to Danlo! Mahogany appearance, bubbly head. Quite a hefty spiced, woody boozy aroma. Taste continues with an aggressive boozy spiced character, some caramel hints with a prominent whisky influence. Takes no prisoners this.
