Handpull cask at Brood, Leicester. Mahogany, translucent with a small smooth tan head. Smoky, oaky scent with notes of sassafrass, dark chocolate, balsamic vinegar. Sweet taste with a medicinal tartness leaning in toward the finish. Cola nut and liquoruce in the aftertaste. Weird but good overall.

Can from Wine Rack, Burpham. Acidic berry aroma with grass and wood. Opaque orange-amber. Bubbly white head soon fades. Was expecting the hedgrow element to come into play but that's pretty well hidden behind the hops. Medium bitter with a vague hint of sourness. Booze. Medium bodied. Slick. Fizzy carbonation. Astringent finish. Drinkable but for me it fails to deliver. Too boozy.
