Can. Oi! McColl's, if you are brewing a 4.2% beer then it's not a fucking IPA is it? So don't fucking label your can as something it ain't! Almost clear gold beer, decent bubbly pale cream colour head. Light and slightly soft palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Soft malts, some sweetness. Soap, bitterish. Some citrus. Little bitterness on the semi dry finish. Oversold and underbrewed. Shite!

Can. Almost clear amber beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Light malts, mildly sweet. Smooth piney hop. Mild bitternes. The hedgerow berries come through and announce themselves in soft tones, certainly not shouty. Modest orange and orange peel. Smooth finish. Never been convinced that hops and berries belong together. This beer assuages that concern but doesn't eliminate it. There is some berry - hop uneasy tension here but overall the beer works. Smooth finish. Piney berry linger, slighty bitter, some strawberry. Yeah, like this one.

440ml can from Caps Off, Bishop Auckland. Hazy orange amber colour, off-white foamy head leaving lacing and aroma of fruity hops. Taste is malty, caramel, spicy fruity, floral with mellow citrus, woody pine and resiny earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Nicely drinkable

440ml can from Caps Off, Bishop Auckland. Golden amber colour, white foam head leaving alittle lacing and fruity citrus aroma. Taste is pale malt, light caramel with zesty citrus, orange, grapefruit, and hoppy earthy bitterness. Light to medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

28/7/2018. Bottle at Højbjerg tasting. Pours slightly hazy golden amber with a good sized foamy off-white head. Aroma of hops, yeast, flowers, citrus, banana, cream, light peppery notes. Medium plus sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium plus body, creamy texture, average carbonation.

Bottle @ Højbjerg tasting 28 July. Pours hazy darkish straw with airy but stable white head. Clear aroma of hops and citrus, with notes of yeast and touches of funk. Sweetish, estery and malty flavour, with notes of bread and bitter, hoppy touches. Bitter and estery aftertaste. Well, a reasonably good one. I like Sorachi Ace. :-)
