Half, on cask at Craft Beer Co Covet Garden. Naked surface, minimal lacing, clear amber coloured body. Half-dry smell of citrus peels and brown malts. Leafy hops to the taste buds, undercurrent of malty sweetness. Medium bodied. Tasty and likable (London 11.07.2015).

Cask at Craft CG. It pours clear gold with a decent white head. The nose is fresh citrus, grapefruit, lemon, stinky pissy hops, dirty grass and bread. The taste is pretty bitter, bready malt, grapefruit rind, zesty lemon, soap , peppery and toasty grass with a dry, citric finish. Light-medium body and fine carbonation. Quite punchy for a low-abv number. Decent.

Gravity cask at Townhouse Beer Festival 2015, Ely. Dark brown, translucent, a fair bit of lacing. Hay, green apples, pine and milk chocolate aroma. Bitter hoppy taste, growing ever more bitter to the uncompromisingly dry finish. A well-made beer, as is the case with almost all of TBM’s products.

Gravity cask at the Townhouse Beer Festival, Ely. Mid to dark gold, clear with a bit of head and considerable lacing. Resinous aroma with bubblegum and seawater. Taste is sweet at first, with piney bubblegum overtones. There’s a gorgeous little bitter kick at the end. Unusual, well-balanced and extremely moreish.

Gravity cask at the Townhouse Beer Festival, Ely. Amber/copper/honey brown, almost clear. Almost no head but a bit of lacing. Caramel malty aroma, with grassy, floral and resinous hints. Taste starts sweet with a sudden bitter kick. The finish has notes of sweet and sour, and the malt reasserts its presence in the aftertaste. Heavily flavoured, but the different aspects rub along together very nicely. An enjoyable experience.

Gravity cask at the Townhouse Beer Festival, Ely. Pale gold, almost straw. Almost but not quite clear. No head but a decent amount of natural carbonation throughout the beer. Sauvignon Blanc, pineapple, grass and a hint of kiwi fruit in the aroma. Very bitter taste, with a slight spicy note. Some chewy buttered sweet corn notes in the middle, followed by a stinging bitter finish and aftertaste. I think this is incredibly good, one of the tastier cask golden I’ve had since I’ve started rating beer.

Cask handpull at Craft Beer Covent Garden. Very pale gold. Lasting white head. Sweaty sox nz hop aroma. Citrus and light tropical fruit aroma. Some bitterness on the finish. OK. Good hops for those that like that nz thing.
