Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 4/89/2018, where the pump clip stated this is a saison. A touch of floral hop, peppery touches, yeasty stone fruits, chewy malts and a moderately bitter finish. In the ballpark for the style, but not a beer I would rush to drink again.

Cask at the Reading Beer Festival. Amber. Melon aroma gradually descending into banana and marzipan. After initially liking it I soon went off it.

Bottle thanks to Dan at LKS's. It pours darkest brown with small beige head. The aroma is earthy roast, charred wood, toasted nut, leather and cocoa. The taste is dry, bitter, earthy, chewy malt, tannin, coffee grounds, toasted nut, cardboard and a light spice with a drying finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. A bit dry, charred and burnt. Decent.
