Cask at Smithfield, Derby. Pours almost black with minimal cream head. There’s lactose and roast malts in the aroma, with a trace of smokiness too. In the mouth it has a creamy texture with flavours of dark fruits, liquorice, and roasted malts plus hints of toffee and cocoa. The fruits win out in he finish. This is rather nice.

Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Black with a light-brown head. It’s an understated but pleasant textured stout with very light roasted notes.

Clear dark yellow colour with lasting head. Balanced malty bitter. Floral hop notes in the aftertaste.

Craft Islington. Cask. Semi opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Light palate, semi dry, modest fine carbonation. Dry light semi sweet malts. Bitter hops. Touch of spice. Ripe fruits on the back end. Harsh floral bitterness to close. A bit rough edged.

Keg @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Very slightly hazy golden with a small head. It has a crisp sweetness but it’s not like real Kølsch as it’s somewhat tastier.

Handpull cask at the Groove Pad, Shipley. Pours dark gold and pretty much clear. I'm getting some hard citrus hops and some astringency in the aroma. And the taste is very similar: some Grape and citrus sweetness flowed by a mind-puckering bitterness. Long, bitter medicinal finish with a bucketload of hops. Medium to full oily body, soft carbonation. Good.

Cask @ Trades Club, Hebden Bridge. Very mild hazy golden with a creamy head. It has a nice hop malt balanced aroma but this is lost somewhat in taste. Has a smooth texture.
