Unit 7, Bewdley Craft Centre, Lax Lane, Bewdley, DY12 2DZ, England
Description
We are a small group of people who are passionate about beer. So much so that we decided to bring a brewery back to Bewdley.
It has taken a lot of hard work and determination but we hope you'll agree it has all been worthwhile. Together we bring years of experience from within the industry and by just enjoying a good quality pint!
We brew on a 10 barrel plant which produces 2880 pints per brew. We have capacity to brew four times per week, and so this gives over half a million pints per year.
Wild River is our craft and keg arm of the brewery.

500ml bottle from Appleyards. Clear gold appearance, white froth. Sweet vegetal nose, continuing to taste with metallic sweetness. It's a few weeks past best before so perhaps shouldn't judge too much but I expected something a little more lighter and less harsh.

Bottle on the Severn Valley Railway. Poured a clear golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is malt, mineral, light citrus, light floral hop. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a malt, earthy, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Not what I would call an old school bitter. It’s blonde and highly carbonated for starters.

Bottle on the Severn Valley Railway. Poured a clear golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, nutty, woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a smooth, fresh classic English bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A young and fresh beer served at the right temperature. A great example of the style.

500ml bottle from Appleyards. Pours pale gold with the faintest mist. Sweet male on the nose. Taste presents a standard moderately sweet lager, gentle bitterness, a touch grassy, measured carbonation. Decent Black Country lager, if that's such a thing.

31/12/2019. Bottle sample courtesy of minutemat, cheers! Pours beautifully, very dark brown with a nice sized lasting bubbly beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, nut, light smoked meats, dark fruits, toffee, liquorice and ash. Moderate sweetness, light roasted bitterness. Moderate body, slight watery oily texture, average carbonation. Slightly dry finish, with late developing blackcurrant. Enjoyed this.
