440ml can from the brewery. Unclear bright gold appearance, no head. Strong rhubarb character with a good lactic presence. Perhaps an apply hint from the mixed ferm, gentle pastry hints. Interesting. Going well with the original 1966 world cup final in colour.

On tap at The Rake, pours a dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma has plenty of aged oak (sort of biere de garde-like), wild yeast, and some tannins. Flavour is oaky, with plenty of aged oak character, tannins, and bready malt. Nicely balanced, with an unusual oaky and wild character. Very good.

Keg at Brewdog Reading. Pours almost clear chestnut amber with a beige cap. Aroma: malty, caramel, light Belgian yeast tones, smky hints. Taste: Light to moderate sweet & moderate bitter, slightly funky & spicy, some tartness, light esters, somewhat boozy. Medium body with fine carbonation. Not your average ESB but no surprise given the collaborators. Enjoyed it
